Platform
VEYRA Blind Buyer Protection
Assess the offer before the name. Supplier identity can be withheld from the buyer through the evaluation stages you configure, and released only at the authorised reveal.
How it runs
A configurable mechanism, not a fixed rule
Blind evaluation is switched on per event or per policy. Some categories warrant it; routine re-supply may not. The choice, and the reveal, are both recorded.
- 01
Requirement published
Structured line items and one commercial framework go to every permitted supplier.
- 02
Suppliers quote independently
No supplier can see who else was invited, how many responded, or any competing price.
- 03
Buyer evaluates masked offers
Submissions appear as Supplier A, B, C with compliance status, price, lead time and conformance.
- 04
Recommendation formed
The comparison and the reasoning are captured while identity is still withheld.
- 05
Authorised reveal
An entitled role releases identity. The event, the role and the time are written to the audit trail.
- 06
Award and notification
The award records the price, the reason and the approval chain behind it.

Authorised reveal locked
Available only after configured approval; the action is recorded.
Identity protection reduces the influence of relationship familiarity on the evaluation. It does not eliminate bias, and evaluation judgement remains with the buying organisation.
